Story Time Cooking
In our Mommy & Me class we sit down in our mommy, daddy, grandma, grandpa, or caregivers' lap and share a cooking themed story, poem or song to help focus the children and spark their interest. After reading the children are given a coloring recipe card and we discuss the age-appropriate recipe we will be preparing and how it relates to the story time. Next, the children and adult helpers begin stirring, pouring, and mixing away. We conclude each class with the tasting of our cooking creations!
